Building Icons: Karan Johar - Director, Talk Show Host.

At PTM, we don't just promote talents, we recognise potential. When we met Karan Johar, his expertise in direction was well known. He had also gained fame as a witty and wonderful television host. But we knew there was much more to this dynamic personality. He was an excellent orator, an intellectual with finesse, a versatile and confident talent. In short, he was icon material. We made the brands realise this.

Karan started endorsing Timond watches and propagating Seagram (Chivas) through experiential marketing. Along with Jude Law, he became the brand ambassador for Alfred Dunhill, the British luxury apparel chain. Our meticulously planned campaigns ensured that a talented movie director gradually metamorphosed into a brand name – a celebrity, an icon. And the brand associations that we had created became success stories.

Today, Karan is synonymous with style; he represents the hip and happening metrosexual who balances charisma with sensitivity. Any brand or product that he endorses becomes a fashion statement, a must have for the youth.
